Artwork Description
Double Lotus is crafted from the myrtle wood that Brenda Behrens favors for its stability and range of color. She uses only traditional carving techniques to create a textured, decorative surface that contrasts with the smoothness of the turned body. Behrens integrates different leaf forms into the flowing lines and shapes that are unique to each piece of wood.
