Pat Flynn’s career was shaped by his upbringing on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania, where he learned the value of hard work and the beauty of wood, metal, nails, and other common materials. He plans his pieces with the help of many sketches, but counts on inspiration to carry him through the process of creating his works. As he says, “if you think too much, things lose their spirit.”
