Biography

At the age of sixteen, Havana-born Paul Sierra moved to Chicago, where he studied at the Art Institute. Although a longtime resident of the Windy City, Sierra's tropical palette is based on childhood memories of Cuba. His trademark vibrant colors provide what has been called a "cultural corridor" between his turbulent Cuban heritage and his adopted country.
