Artwork Description

Douglas Climenson began creating three-dimensional constructions in 1965. In Moon he used thin nylon line to suspend a clear ring of Lucite within two larger ovals. The lines appear to stretch and twist between the rings, supporting and emphasizing the piece’s delicate structure.
