The next Handi-hour is on Wednesday, July 10 and will feature garden crafts! Staff members from Smithsonian Gardens helped us come up with the activities, which include decorating terra cotta pots, creating cork plant holders, and more. Be sure to watch our latest Handi-hour video, in which American Art program coordinator Katie Crooks and Smithsonian Gardens manager of collections and education Cynthia Brown demonstrate this month's crafts. As always, there will be music, craft beer, and cheese. There are only two more Handi-hour programs at the Renwick Gallery before it closes for renovation at the end of the year (do not fear - Handi-hour will move to the Luce Foundation Center in the museum's main building during the closure), so I hope you can join us!
