Spend a slice of your Spring Break with us. This special, full-day workshop will provide you with insights and inquiry-based, engaging strategies for teaching the Vietnam War. Co-facilitated by 2017-2018 Library of Congress Teacher in Residence, Matthew Poth, we’ll be bringing together resources from the Library of Congress and SAAM’s upcoming Artists Respond: American Art and the Vietnam War, 1965-1975 exhibition to engage your historian’s habits of mind. Propaganda, respectful debate, reading art and text, it will be a busy day!
