Luce Unplugged has gone digital! SAAM’s Luce Foundation Center has teamed up with Paul Vodra and Anthony Porecco, hosts of local music podcast Hometown Sounds, to bring you music from your favorite DC artists. Tune in each month for a new episode featuring local tunes and conversations about creative life in DC.


Local Music Series: Luce Unplugged
Retreat to the dazzling Luce Foundation Center for concerts by local musicians, paired with staff-led talks on artworks chosen by the performing artists. Sit and tap your feet or enjoy the music as you wander the Luce Center’s three interactive levels and around 3,000 works of art. Talks begin at 5:30 p.m. and are followed by concerts at 6 p.m. on select days. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase from an on-site bar. (Free, all ages)


Local Music Series: Luce Unplugged Community Showcase
Local bands and local beer! This after hours concert series features two of the DMV’s best bands chosen by the Washington City Paper’s arts editor. Enjoy a free beer tasting (ages 21+) from a local brewery; full pours and snacks available for purchase from an on-site bar. Concert from 6–8 p.m.; free tasting while supplies last. Presented with the Washington City Paper. (Free, all ages)
