Join Janneken Smucker, professor of history at West Chester University, and Leslie Umberger, curator of folk and self-taught art, for an in-depth tour of SAAM’s exhibition Pattern and Paradox: The Quilts of Amish Women. Learn more about the creative practice of Amish quilters in the United States between 1880 and 1950, as well as the stories of the women who created these extraordinary artworks.
