Artwork Description

Earl Pardon often incorporated iridescent mother-of-pearl into his abstract mosaics of gold, silver, enamel, and colored gemstones on sterling silver plaques. Concerned with the way a piece fits the body, Pardon ensured that the necklace’s parts were hinged for adjustability and freedom of movement.
