Artwork Description

The Red Urns explore the idea of a nonfunctional vessel. Louis Sclafani creates an illusion of inner space that deceives the viewer into believing the glass is hollow. The urns are almost two-dimensional with strong silhouettes emphasized by elaborate decoration. They stand tall and proud, like relics from a forgotten past.
