Artwork Description

Susan Sloan used epoxy resin, a special adhesive, to add pure pigment to Pink Stem. The contrast between the smooth iridescent greens and purples of the branch and the rough pink glass underneath transforms a brooch that was inspired by nature into a surreal, dreamlike environment.
