Artwork Description
Linda Threadgill considers her jewelry “small sculpture,” explaining that the abstract forms symbolize individuals or experiences. Using her signature etching technique, she embellishes each box with symmetrical and geometric decorative patterns that she calls “fictions of ornament.” She finds inspiration in patterned fabric, old-fashioned botanical drawings, and her garden.
