Walter Pach

Artist, critic, teacher. Influenced by Henri Matisse, Jacques Villon, Pablo Picasso and Paul Cézanne, he worked in both oil and watercolor and did etchings. He published 11 books, translated Elie Faure's five-volume History of Art and helped organize the famous Armory Show of 1913.
