Artwork Description

Michelle Holzapfel collects burls and other types of irregular woods from around her home in Vermont and allows the natural form of the wood to inspire her designs. The elaborate decoration on Suspended Ring Vase emphasizes the polished fissures on the wood’s pale surface.
