Exploring Hybrid Ways for Improving Accessibility in Visual Art Museums

This project explores the development of accessibility in visual art museums in the United States. Globally, accessibility and social inclusion are being embraced as crucial values in our daily lives. Accordingly, museums must pay attention to the rights of people with diverse needs. Researching this project in consultation with the art professionals of the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM), the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (HMSG), and other directors and curators in the field will enable me to raise awareness and encourage dialogue about accessibility both in Taiwan and the United States.
