James F. Dicke Contemporary Artist Lecture: April Gornik
April Gornik discusses her dramatic American landscapes including Virga, recently added to the museum's collection. Gornik's images of roiling seas, ominous skies, mountains overlooking endless plains capture the power of nature and endeavor to create a suspended moment of calm. This is the second annual lecture honoring former commission chair, James F. Dicke II.
