Teacher Workshop: Asian Pacific American History: Challenging Propaganda

  • When teaching history, how do you avoid inadvertently teaching a stereotype, particularly while confronting propaganda? In this virtual lecture designed for educators, discuss why it is essential to provide students with a multi-faceted view of people and events. Content will be most relevant for 6th to 9th grades. Co-presented with the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, this workshop took place on January 27, 2021.
