Biography

Elsie Dodge Pattee studied at the Académie Julian, and was a leading member of the American Society of Miniature Painters. Her work won numerous medals, including awards at the Panama-Pacific Exposition in 1915. She also illustrated children’s books, including Christmas, The Animal Book by William Allen Butler.
