- Biography
Painter, graphic artist. Originally an accountant and efficiency expert, Tschacbasov turned to painting in 1930 and specialized in encaustic. His style was expressionistic and colorful with subjects ranging from the social conditions of his day to animals rendered in a whimsical, fantastic style.
