Artwork Description

The American Eagle pin was one of several U.S. Army insignia designed by Anthony de Francisci between 1922 and 1925. The bald eagle holds two feathered arrows in its talons, signifying military might, and is surrounded by the laurel wreath, which symbolizes victory.
