Artwork Description

This medal shows Lee Lawrie’s interpretation of the biblical proverb “Whatsoever a man soweth, that also shall he reap,” which appears in Galatians 6:7. Lawrie hoped the medal would “cause reflection upon this age-old saying, and those who pause to look at the medal may each read into it meanings of his own.”
