Artwork Description

Paul Manship created small relief medallions representing Patriotism, Justice, Fortitude, and Charity for his sculpture Abraham Lincoln the Hoosier Youth. These were placed around the base of the finished statue and were what Manship considered to be “some of the major qualities which Lincoln possessed.”
