Artwork Description
Bernard M. Baruch was a financier and statesman, and an advisor to American presidents, including Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt. The Bernard M. Baruch Distinguished Service Award commemorates Baruch’s contributions to the War Industries Board, a collaboration of industry and government that first supplied the United States military with weapons and matériel during World War I.
