Carolyn D. Tyler, Elizabeth Moore, ca. 1910, watercolor on ivory, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Museum purchase through the Catherine Walden Myer Fund, 1959.7.26
It has not been possible to establish the identity of this redheaded young lady, other than her name. The large bouquet of daffodils pinned to her blouse suggests that the portrait was painted sometime in spring.
