Artwork Description

Hair Ornament marks the artist's brief foray into a traditional style. Plique-à-jour enamel does not use a metal backing, but is fused to the sides of the shape it fills, allowing light to illuminate the color of the material. This piece was donated in honor of Brittany Ebendorf, the daughter of Robert Ebendorf and artist Ivy Ross.
