Artwork Description

Aaron Goodelman created many sculptures that celebrated manual labor. He criticized artists who used traditional subjects, like nude figures in static poses, and encouraged his students to express their opinions through their work. Sculptures such as Man with Wheelbarrow immortalized the simple and often overlooked acts of the working man.
