Artwork Description

Blue Flesh stands precariously upon its narrow base, its soft colors and gentle curves suggesting fabric or petals. Danny Perkins carefully breaks and cracks the blown form, then sandblasts and paints each fragment before gluing the structure back together. The muted rainbow of colors and cracks of light enhance the monumental form.
