Artwork Description

Kellogg Fairbank (1863-1939) was a Chicago attorney and president of the Chicago Shipbuilding Company during World War I. Paul Manship’s uniface artist’s sample shows the obverse of the true medal and is inscribed “for Janet,” Fairbank’s wife.
